We finally had Lexie's first birthday party yesterday, January 16th.
There were several other birthday's there so we had extra cakes and sang the song an extra time to include everyone- My dad's birthday was yesterday; my sister in law Brandi and my Aunt Donna celebrated birthdays the first week of January; my Godson Sidney and my future brother in law Keith will celebrate their birthdays the last week of January; and in the first week of February my nephew Bradley turns 4 years old!!! Whew! That's a LOT of celebrating! Aunt Donna and Brandi couldn't make it- but we sang to everyone anyways and had a lot of fun! :)
Bradley even got his own special cake with BumbleBee the Transformer crashing through it; Dad got a red velvet Big Top Cup Cake; and Keith got a regular Big Top Cupcake with magic candles that wouldn't go out. ha ha... needless to say we had PLENTY of CAKE!
And as you can see from the video below of the Birthday girl herself- she shared with us the proper way to eat a birthday cake! :)
