As most of you know, Eric is supervisor over Greenville County Animal Care Services. He really loves his job and enjoys the opportunity to help animals in need throughout the upstate. And it's absolutely remarkable how animals respond to his love and devotion. He has always had a unique bond with animals and today, he held an injured red-tail hawk in his arms- and the hawk fell asleep! With most people, the hawk would have gotten upset and more than likely acted out. But with Eric, this magnificant bird is calm and relaxed enough to have his pictures taken and even fall asleep! Here are some pictures of Eric holding the hawk before he drifted off to sleep. It's truely amazing to see his love for animals transformed into ACTION! (Yeah, you can say I'm very proud of my hubby.)
The Wildlife Rescue in Greenville will be taking care of the hawk until he's well enough to be released back into the wild.
