Today, my sweet daughter Jenna Jade celebrated her 5th birthday! The party isn't until next weekend- so today we asked her what she wanted to do with her special day. Her first wish was the Greenville Zoo! And Jenna got a wonderful surprise from one of her best friends Natalia who was on the playground! We let Jenna pick out a cupcake from the store because she wanted us to sing to her at least one time ON her birthday. :)

Then we did something extra special! We helped Greenville, SC make history by participating in a HUGE event for Google Fiber Internet. You may have seen "Google On Main" on the news, with the glow sticks spinning- spelling out the word Google across Falls Park in downtown Greenville. The girls, Eric, and myself were standing in the little "g" (which was twirling blue glow sticks).
We had all gathered over at the amphitheatre, and walked together, in a SUPER long line, all the way to Falls Park where we stood inside white lines so that we could spell Google. I was there with Jenna most of the time, and in the 5 minutes it took me to change Lexie's diaper while Daddy stood with her, a news journalist for the Greenville News came over, took pictures of Jenna and Eric; then interviewed Jenna about how this is her birthday and she's participating in something that could go down in history, etc. etc.... I missed it! lol! Lexie did get her picture taken a few times when we returned- so perhaps she'll make it in one of the news' slideshows on their website... www.greenvilleonline.com :)
What a day! The girls were sound asleep within seconds of hitting their pillows... :) Happy Birthday Jenna Jade, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!
